Privacy Policy

Last updated August 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Flasta Cut, a product of Mjindani Con. and Interiors ("we," "us," or "our"), collects when you use our website and cutting-list tool (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. The Service is offered worldwide.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address, and either a password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text) or your Google/Apple account identifier if you sign in that way.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Paystack. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and which project it unlocked — we never receive or store your card number or other payment credentials.

Project data. The cabinet dimensions, settings, and saved jobs you enter are stored in your browser (locally) to generate your cutting lists; which specific projects your account has unlocked (free or paid) is stored on our servers so that unlock status follows your account.

Technical data. We log IP addresses on requests to our servers, solely to prevent abuse (e.g. rate limiting), and standard web server logs (timestamps, browser type).

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide, maintain, and secure the Service;
  • To process payments and keep a record of what you've purchased;
  • To enforce the free-project limit tied to your account;
  • To respond to you when you contact us;
  • Occasionally, to tell you about product updates or offers — you can opt out of these at any time.

3. Who We Share Information With

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Flasta Cut:

  • Paystack — payment processing;
  • Google / Apple — if you choose to sign in with one of these, they authenticate your identity to us;
  • Our hosting and database providers (currently Vercel and Supabase) — to run the Service and store account data.

Each of these providers only receives what they need to perform their function and is bound by their own privacy commitments.

4. Data Retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll delete your account information within a reasonable time, except where we're required to keep payment records for legal/tax purposes.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain uses of it. To exercise any of these, contact us at [email protected] and we'll respond as required by applicable law.

6. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
